The main objective of this program is to create an area for reflection, learning, networking and action to foster the development of clusters and production chains. Clusters are seen as engines for the development of the organizations involved and also the regions and sectors in which they operate.
There is a growing implementation of cluster initiatives and production chains in Argentina and Latin America involving millions of dollars of public investment. For example, only in Argentina, more than a dozen public policies or programs are operating, funded by multilateral organizations. At the same time, self-managed initiatives from the private sector have emerged with the aim of promoting sectoral and regional development.
