ACI Executive Programme: Developing Clusters and National Competitiveness

Singapore, 20-24 April 2009 The Asia Competitiveness Institute is organizing its Executive Programme on developing clusters and national competitiveness, designed for senior executives like national or local government, business managers with responsibilities for government relations or leaders of trade and business association. The Programme aims to inform decision-makers about the importance of microeconomic policy and the role of location in economic performance.

The Asia Competitiveness Institute was set up in 2006 to build the intellectual leadership and network for understanding and developing competitiveness in the ASEAN region.

The Programme had to be postponed and will be held from the 18th to the 23rd of August 2008 at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, Bukit Timah Campus. TCI member Prof. Neo Boon Siong is Director of the ACI and will teach together with Associate Professor Ashish Lall and the TCI Board of Director member Kevin X. Murphy, from J.E. Austin Associates, this 6 day course.
