KICOX, the Gateway to 77 Korean Clusters

KICOX - Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has been operating an Industrial complex-based cluster program since 2005 including an overseas cooperation sub-program. International clusters and professionals are welcome to contact Korean clusters or members through this organization.

Industrial complexes-based cluster program supports 77 clusters formed around seven regional specialized industries onto 193 industrial complexes nationwide. This program is targeted on approximately 36,000 entrepreneurs, research institutions and supporting agencies. Over six years a total of 11,026 projects has been solved in R&D, general management, marketing, training and other areas through an individual support project such as a business growth fostering and a pan-regional cluster development project. The web-based network called E-cluster allows to exchange information and the project management.

 

KICOX newly launched the English website to enhance international cooperation http://www.e-cluster.net/en/ and offers, among others, cluster maps including 77 clusters coordinated by the industrial cluster program.

 

KICOX is a sole, public and national level industrial complexes' management and supervising agency established in 1997 after integrating 5 regional complex management corporations operating independently. KICOX is headquartered in Seoul City and configured as 6 regional headquarters and 21 branch offices nationwide.
