Description

Innovation Systems & Cluster Programme - Uganda (ISCP-U) aims to stimulate and facilitate the development of innovation systems and innovative clusters in Uganda. The objectives of the programme are to facilitate and enhance innovativeness among firms by infusion of knowledge from the Academia; to facilitate the enhancement of competition and cooperation among firms within clusters, public institutions and other stakeholders by creating collaborative Cluster Action Teams (platforms) to solve specific tasks; and to nurture a competitive mindset amongst the cluster members through sensitization and training. The ISCP-U constitutes the Uganda National Chapter, part of the East African Regional Chapter of the Pan-African Competitiveness Forum (PACF). The PACF is a continental body with a mission to stimulate, catalyze and promote the development of innovation and cluster based competitiveness for poverty reduction, wealth creation and sustainable development of Africa.
