Mission: Agro-Industrial Cluster’s mission is to increase the collaboration and the cooperation between the companies and entities related to the agro-industrial sector, thus ensuring a broad participation of the entities directly related with the sector in the international, national and commercial circuits.

MAIN INDUSTRIES - Processed Fruits, Vegetables, Jams and Juices; - Olives, Olive Oil, Vinegar, Sauces and Condiments; - Tomato; - Rice; - Fresh meat and traditional smoked; - Alcoholic and distilled beverages; - Animal Feed. Base activity of the Cluster Agro-industrial do Ribatejo is the agro-industria sector focused on agricultural products deriving from the area of reference - RIBATEJO.

ANCHOR PROJECTS:
- INOV.LINEA: Food technology transference centre, it allows for the study and support of the development of new products through technological innovation. The support to the Industry and Technological Innovation is obtained in an industrial production environment (using pilot equipment).
- Incubator Equipment: Supporting the incubation of companies, focusing on the promotion, creation and development of technologically-based businesses. Associated to the Centre for the development of new equipment for the Agro-industry.
- AgroCompete Qualification: On-the-job continuous training programmes aimed at increasing human resource qualification of the agro-industrial companies. Make the companies more competitive.
- Brand: Promotion of the image, focused on the supply capacities and the distinctive and differentiating aspects of the Ribatejo’s agro-industrial sector.
- Lands: Integrated valorisation of residues. Development of mechanisms to add value to agro-industrial waste and sub-products (organic) together with those resulting from other industrial activities (inorganic), by means of integration and simple dispersion.
