Description

PAPES is an organization created in June 2009 specialized on the promotion of cluster initiatives. At the moment, it is focused on the promotion of 10 clusters in Senegal especially on craft industry and food-processing sectors:

  • Cluster focused on the production and the conversion of fruits and vegetables
  • Cluster specialized on the production of Cashew nuts
  • Cluster on artisanal textile
  • 2 Clusters specialized on fishing and the conversion of sea products: one at Soumbedioune and the other at Toubacouta
  • 2 Clusters on breeding and tie-in products at Dioffior and Dahra
  • Cluster focused on the production and conversion of Bissap (ibiscus flower) located at Kaolack
  • Cluster of shea butter at Kédougou
  • Cluster of « Fonio » cereals at Kédougou
