FILAS is the Lazio Region Financial Development Agency that promotes development and innovation within the local economic network and sustains innovation and growth of SMEs by focusing on high tech sectors and managing high tech clusters (Aerospace, Bio-science, Creative Industries, Tourism and Cultural Heritage). It also manages a series of measures and financial instruments (Regional laws, FP7 and Structural Funds) to encourage research activities, innovation and technology transfer amongst enterprises, public entities and universities as well as creation and development of new high-tech enterprises and internationalisation of SMEs.
