Description
Perm State National Research University seeks to build a highly-effective regional innovation system, based on cluster approach. The University strongly believes, that only collaboration in all spheres of economy can make the region able to meet global competition and perform successfully on worldwide stage. In 2011 Perm University started conducting research project “Principles and mechanisms of regional clusters formation and development”, which is targeted on investigation of core principles and mechanisms of regional cluster formation. The research work discovered key success factors of effective regional clusters development and elaborated various models of cluster organization in region. It also worked out vitally important recommendations for regional and state authorities and provided detailed guidance for effective cluster leadership. Among results of the research work is regional clusters database, including cluster structure data and indices.
