EUROCEI - The European Enterprise and Innovation Center was founded in 1989, being the first BIC created in Andalusia (Spain) and it is integrated within European BICs network. EUROCEI acts as an instrumental agency for “Andalusia Development Institute” (IDEA), a governmental agency in charge of fostering the economic development of Andalusia’s industrial sector. In order to do so, EUROCEI has adopted a cluster-based approach. This organization has successfully completed the study of different clusters that thrive in Andalusia and issued related documents, such as Andalusia Cluster mapping, Andalusia wooden furniture cluster, ceramic products cluster, textile cluster, plastic cluster, industrial confectionery cluster, touristic sector cluster and North of Morocco cluster map.
