Description

Clusters Mendoza Productiva is a program developed by the Government of Mendoza in 2004 and financed by the lnter-American Bank of Development (IADB). Its main aim is to increase the competitiveness of the value chains on a territorial balanced distribution. Within the frame of Mendoza Productiva, the subprogram of Cluster Promotion seeks to detect the needs of every sector in the productive circuits and to increase the competitiveness of the value chains by supporting the business development processes and the joint actors (companies, supporting institutions, etc.) around the clusters identified in the Province. During the first phase of the subprogram that began in October 2006, nine clusters have been prioritized: four agri-food clusters (oliva oil, prune, fresh fruit, fresh vegetable), three industrial clusters (graphic services, textile clothing, oil industry services) and two tourist clusters: rural tourism and tourism ventures.
