The official announcement of the city which will host the 21st TCI Global Conference 2018 was made during the passing of the torch ceremony in Bogota on 8 November 2017.

Cluster policy in Catalonia has now been in place for 25 years, showing continuity and commitment from the government with the business fabric regardless of the different administrations. Hence, it represents a good example of innovation in public policies. Congratulations to our colleagues at ACCIO as well as the Catalan cluster practitioners for all the achieved so far!

EU-LACFoundation and the Ibero-American GeneralSecretariat (SEGIG) are running a Projectcalled CompetitivenessClusters. The goal isto contribute to improve the international competitiveness of the EUand LAC through greater economic cooperation andjoint actions between regions, including organisations andpractitioners, being this cooperation based on thecluster approach and value chains.

TheBasque Country hosted recently a peer review exercise withinternational experts selected by TCI Network, the global network oforganizations and practitioners of competitiveness, clusters andinnovation that has coordinated peer review exercises in CLUSTERS3project’s partner regions.
