Celebrating the People and Initiatives Turning Collaboration into Impact: The TCI Recognition Awards 2026

Barbara Gimeno,

During the 29th TCI Global Conference in Córdoba, Argentina, we presented the inaugural TCI Recognition Awards, a new initiative to celebrate outstanding contributions shared during the event.

Aligned with the conference theme, From Collaboration to Impact: Clusters and Ecosystems Driving Transformation, the recognition awards highlight the people, organisations and initiatives that demonstrate how collaboration translates into meaningful change and impact.

Rather than traditional awards for lifetime achievements or institutional excellence, the TCI Recognition Awards focuses on real experiences, innovative approaches, tangible results, and valuable lessons shared at the conference.

The initiative aims to celebrate inspiring contributions from across the global TCI community, highlight practical experiences that other clusters and ecosystems can learn from, and encourage openness in sharing challenges, difficult decisions and lessons learnt to inform future actions. It also seeks to create a memorable and engaging moment during the conference closing ceremony.
