The TCI Network Board of Directors would like to advise of the following changes:

Merete Daniel Nielsen, President of the TCI Network, is ending her term after 6-years, effective 1st January 2025. Her invaluable contribution in working with many inspirational cluster practitioners to help develop the network across the world is greatly appreciated. Merete will continue to support the network through her new role as an advisor of the TCI Network Board of Advisors.

Ásta Kristin Sigurjónsdóttir, Director and Secretary of the TCI Network, has withdrawn her candidacy for the role of President and has stepped down from the Board of Directors, effective immediately. She will continue contributing with her invaluable support as an active member.

The TCI Board of Directors wishes both Merete and Ásta all the best in their future endeavors and staying connected through our network.

In the interim, Dr Mirjana Prica, TCI Network Board Director, has stepped up as President until the next General Assembly. Mirjana is an enthusiastic visionary who focuses on cluster collaboration, entrepreneurship and innovation to deliver value.

In the interim, Emily Wise will continue her role as Treasurer, and David Fernández, current TCI Network Director, has kindly stepped up as Secretary, until the next General Assembly.

With these recent changes to the Board of Directors, the TCI Network General Assembly 2024 has been postponed until the New Year. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank the broader TCI Network members, and Board of Advisors for their continued support and drive to develop and consolidate clusters and innovation ecosystems across the world.
