Dear TCI members,

We hope you are all in good health and spirits in these challenging times as we are all trying to navigate the consequences of COVID19.

The focus now is on getting the outbreak under control and managing the shock to our economies and our societies. Clusters and business networks are already helping where they can. They make the companies’ capabilities visible to address urgent needs and work with them to plan for how to get through the coming weeks.

In TCI Network, we hear every day of great stories on how clusters are already transforming to the new reality. We will gather and share these inspiring cluster cases from around the world on how clusters support companies in this extremely difficult time.

Some day – hopefully soon – the worst will be over. And then the work on re-starting growth will begin. Economies will need a major fiscal push for this to happen. But we will also need strategies for the long-term growth towards more inclusive and sustainable societies. And here clusters and innovation ecosystems can play a powerful role to ignite collaborative solutions.

In this process, we will all have to adapt our activities to a largely online collaboration model. In TCI Network, we will keep on exploring new online formats and activities to speed up the dialogue and learning in the network to help all members with timely and relevant knowledge. We’re here for you - please reach out to us with ideas and cases for us to explore.
