Short description The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) is the union of Ukrainian clusters with the strong focus on industrial and high-tech clusters. The war in Ukraine has brought together Ukrainian clusters and SMEs in a unique alliance, the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance. Starting in March as Clusters4Ukraine, it grew fast, renamed itself to Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA). As for July the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance unites 58 cluster organisations with more than 2000 enterprises and science-research organisations.
From March 2022 Ukrainian Cluster Alliance has been a full member of European Cluster Alliance(ECA) and cooperates with ECA and ECCP on a daily basis to support Ukrainian clusters and companies. During the period we provide C2C (Cluster to Cluster) and other international meetings on a monthly base. From September 2022 UCA is a full member of TCI Network.
From July 2022 Ukrainian Cluster Alliance become an official network partner for EIT Manufacturing and provided an information day for the cluster members. https://www.eitmanufacturing.eu/partner/ukrainian-cluster-alliance/
The UCA has the mission to develop the cluster movement in Ukraine in line with the principles of cluster policies of the European Union and in collaboration with European clusters. To provide quality services to its members, Ukrainian Cluster Alliance develops coordinated activities at national level which cover all main Ukrainian industries, and which are strongly oriented to the internationalisation of Ukrainian clusters. Ukrainian Cluster Alliance has the structure that aims to support and promote among clusters the initiatives of smart specialisation, better integration into European values chains, innovations, digital and green transition.
The UCA plays an important role not only in survival of Ukrainian innovative manufacturing enterprises but is one of the main players in Recovery Strategy of Ukraine for sustainable economic growth.
